We are glad to announce that the South African Naval Museum will re-open to the public on Tuesday 1 September 2020, but by public appointment only, at this stage.
The museum will initially only be open to visitors during week days (Mondays – Fridays) from 09:30 to 15:30.
Visitors will be limited and social distancing protocols will be observed inside the museum.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, sanitise their hands when entering, temperatures will be taken while a questionnaire register must be filled in on entry.
From Saturday 3 October 2020 we will return to our normal schedule that includes week-ends (Saturdays & Sundays)

Entry to the museum remains free of charge, although donations can be made at our front desk.
